The Texas Hold'em Pokers Rules

The world of Texas Hold'em will start by the forced bets made by 2 players who are sitting at the left side of the dealer. These types of bets are called blinds and there are actually two types of blinds which are the small and the big blind.

The antes are another kind of forced bet that is charged from the players at the poker table. These are charged in addition to the so called blind bets and these are frequently made in the upper stages of a Texas Hold'em tournament.

The small blind is made by the first participant at the left side of the dealer while the big blind is made by the second player at the dealers left side. The amount of a small blind is half the amount of the big blind.

The values of antes and blinds are increasing periodically in the game of Texas-Hold'em. Eventhough the blind bets usually starts from the minimum bet, in an online poker, the rules for betting may actually differ.

There is also a change in rules if ever there are only 2 players left in a Texas Hold'em tournament. The dealer will appoint the small blind player while his opponent will be the big blind.

There are also other variations in the game of Texas Hold'em aside from the classic one. These variations are the pot-limit, no-limit and limit Texas Hold'em. There are minimal difference on the structure of betting and the rules of the game.

On the game of limit Texas Hold'em, the raises and bets of the first 2 rounds are equal to the amount of big blinds. The third as well as the fourth of the betting round, the amount will sum up to the amount of double big blinds.

The most famous of all variations of poker is called the no limit Texas Hold'em. The poker players could make raises and bets to any amount that is over the minimum bet and they could actually go for all-in.

The pot limit type of Texas Hold'em poker on the other hand could only make a maximum raise that is the size of the current pot.

The game of Texas Hold'em will end in a show down. This is always the game's setup not unless all but one player calls for fold during the game wherein the only player who stands wins. On the show down, every one will be presenting their cards and whoever has the best cards on hand will win the game.
